Fun + Helpful:
3 Small Things You Can Do This Week to Love Your Home More

  1. Bring in something living — a new plant, fresh basil for the kitchen, or even cut flowers. It instantly lifts a space. It’s getting darker, brightening up your home can help brighten your mood.

  2. Create a “drop zone” near the front door. You’d be amazed at how much mental stress disappears when keys + bags have a home. I did this by adding hooks for coats (we were terrible about opening the closet and hanging the coats), and I added a bench with bins for each family member and change them seasonally, so right now all the mitts and gloves for one person are in their bin.

  3. Swap one lightbulb to a warm glow bulb — especially in a reading corner or bedroom. Cozy matters.

A Quick Real Estate Snapshot This Month

Right now in Edmonton, we’re still seeing a lot of energy in the market, especially for detached homes and homes priced under the average (current average is $455K for all residential). Inventory is shifting slowly, and buyers are becoming more intentional.
PRO Tip: If you want to sell in the next 2-6 months, give your home a fresh coat of paint, finish little project and maybe even get an inspection done to see what work is needed that will help your home sell quickly and for top dollar. If you want a current evaluation, shoot me a message.
